    Las Vegas Vintage Neighborhoods Getting Hot this 2015 According to Redfin

Redfin, a US real estate search engine, in a recent article presented their list of  The Hottest Neighborhoods of 2015 by Metro. Las Vegas is included in this list with the top 5 neighborhoods in the Valley.

    Nowadays, it’s no longer just about affordability or convenience, it’s a toss up of both. These neighborhoods are priced right without sacrificing convenience.

    Hottest Neighborhoods in Las Vegas this 2015

    South Shores-  South Shores is a master-planned community that offers a mixture of commercial estates, apartments, condo units, and single-family homes. It’s in the Northwestern region of Valley near Summerlin and Desert Shores. It’s a  quick 20-minute drive from the McCarran International airport, the Strip, and many top of the line amenities like schools, shopping, dining, entertainment and golf courses. On top of the list are the beautiful views of the Spring Mountain range and Red Rock Canyon. Median sale price of homes is at $240,000 and median days on market is 68 days.

    The Lakes– The Lakes is another master-planned community built during the mid 80s-90s. It’s located on the outskirts of Sin City. One of the special features of this community is the huge man-made lake, which serves as the community’s centerpiece. It’s located in the western part of the Valley close to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and the Spring Mountains. Median price of homes is at $238,000 while median days on market is at 69 days.

    Painted Desert– Located just west of I95 and Ann Rd is a guard gated golf course community of 460 acres. It has 1,600 homes. It offers a mixture of homes; custom, duplex villas, and even condo units all with amazing views of The Painted Desert Golf Course. The golf course is what ties it all together, a delightful element in this serene community. Median homes prices are $194,000 and median days on the market are at 68 days.

    Paradise Palms– Paradise Palms offers a taste of vintage Vegas, located east of the Strip and bordering the Las Vegas National Golf Course. This historic neighborhood is a significant piece of Sin City because it’s the very first planned community in the country and was awarded one of the best-planned communities in the country during its day.  Built in the 1960s, most of the homes were influenced by Palm Springs architecture. Median home price is at $164,000 and median days on the market is 66 days.

    Silverado Ranch– Conveniently located south of Las Vegas, just minutes away from the Las Vegas International airport and the Strip, is a master-planned community that probably has the best location because it’s just minutes away from the heart of the city. Home options range from single-family homes, condo units, and apartments. Median home price is at $191,000 and median days on market is at 63 days.
